Getting to Know Nat
Natalia "Nat" Fernandez, is a healer, functional medicine health coach candidate, and educator in the menstrual health space, specializing in Premenstrual Disorders.
Born and raised in Florida, Nat holds a strong love of learning and a curiosity of the world, and so, having lived in several different countries, she has encountered life changing experiences that has shaped the person she is today.
One of the most awe-inspiring journeys led her to Bali, and in her time there, her menstrual health blossomed. Nat learned from the world's best healers as they shared ancient wisdoms that helped her with her own PMDD. The healing light and love that she gained during her time in Bali is an essence that she integrates during client sessions.
As the Executive Director of "period", and a survivor of PMDD herself, Nat can deeply empathize with persons struggling with Premenstrual Disorders and looks forward to help heal the world, one individual at a time!
Founded in 2020, "period" is an organization whose purpose is to improve the livelihoods of persons suffering from PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder). "period" achieves this goal by spreading awareness of PMDD, inspiring others to create an open dialogue about PMDD, and connecting people and their stories of PMDD through various art forms. While our primary focus is on Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder, we also hold space for those with Premenstrual Exacerbation, and other menstrual health related issues. We are committed to the Sustainable Development Goals of Good Health and Well-Being and Gender Equality by helping others in their healing journey through the lens of Functional Medicine or root-cause medicine.
